Since 2014, delivering courses, resources, and tools to reduce avalanche risk in Chile.

We are professionals who know the mountains deeply. We understand the risks involved in exploring them, which is why we train and educate ourselves year after year to provide quality and up-to-date training aligned with North America.

We work to educate and encourage the community to move safely in avalanche terrain.

We have a long track record as official providers of AIARE (American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education) in South America and have seen the trend for Backcountry increase year after year.

JULY – AUGUST

COURSES

AIARE RECREATIONAL

Focused on practical learning and refining skills for companion rescue in avalanches.

Students will practice techniques for searching for one or multiple victims.

RESCATE

The main topics covered are terrain recognition, trip planning, observation techniques, decision-making in the field, human factors, and rescue techniques.

NIVEL 1

This course goes a step further, providing tools for a more thorough study of the snowpack and its components.

Students will understand stability problems and snow metamorphism. Focused on those who want to increase their knowledge.

NIVEL 2

We wanted to take learning to another level. The full program includes the entire AIARE recreational track and incorporates a winter medicine course.

Aimed at those who want to quickly advance to the professional world, with 4 certifications in one intensive session with area professionals.
