Five days of pure backcountry and ski touring across three active volcanoes in the heart of the Andean Araucanía, with access to pristine, largely unexplored terrain where each day brings a new line to carve out beneath your feet.

During the day, we set out on long walks, enjoying picnics in secluded spots beneath the araucaria trees, and capped off the trip with a group barbecue for dinner.

There are a few must-visit spots: a hot tub with a view of the volcano and Host Nancy’s Ruca Pehuenche, an unmissable dining destination.
